Closure hinge pins, clamp screws and pressure-warning screws, trap and kicker valve studs, small-bore flange bolting, U-bolts, saddle and anchor bolts, made in Houston to your drawings and specifications.
A 12-inch Class 600 pipeline pig launcher with a 16-inch barrel, on its skid, taken apart the way a crew does it: the gauge, vent, drain and pig signaller come off their flanges, the kicker valve and spool slide back, the pressure-warning screw backs out and the clamp ring opens so the door swings clear on its hinge, then the trap valve comes out of the line and the barrel lifts off the skid on its saddles. The bolting we make is in colour. Press Solid view for a steel model, or Cutaway to see the pig in the barrel, the reducer, the valve bore and the closure in section.
Threaded through the clamp ring's locking tab into a bleed port in the hub. It must come out before the ring can open, and vents any trapped pressure as it does (ASME VIII, UG-35.2).
The clamp ring halves hang on a pivot pin under the hub and are drawn together at the top by the closing screw.
The pin the door swings on, and the bolts that fix the door arm to the door and let it be set square to the hub.
Bolt the trap (mainline) ball valve between the barrel neck and the pipeline: twenty 1-1/4 in. studs per flange on a 19-1/4 in. bolt circle (ASME B16.5 Class 600, NPS 12), each with two heavy hex nuts.
Hold the bolted bodies of the trap valve and the kicker valve together.
Both flanges of the kicker valve, which sends line flow into the barrel behind the pig: twelve 1 in. studs per flange on an 11-1/2 in. bolt circle (Class 600, NPS 6).
Small-bore flanges for the vent valve and pressure gauge connection near the closure and the drain valve under the barrel: eight 5/8 in. studs per flange on a 5 in. bolt circle (Class 600, NPS 2).
Hold the pig signaller on its 2 in. flanged nozzle just past the trap valve.
Hold the kicker line down on the cap plates of its support posts.
Bolt the two barrel saddles down to the skid cross beams.
Cast into the foundation and up through the skid runners, with a plate washer and heavy nut on each.

Request a quote832-446-3442A generic 12 in. Class 600 launcher with a 16 in. barrel, not any maker's design. The flanges and flange studs, valve face-to-face lengths, pipe walls, reducer and elbows follow ASME B16.5, API 6D, ASME B36.10 and B16.9; the closure, valve bodies, pig, saddles and skid are illustrative, and the closure, valve body, U-bolt, saddle and anchor bolting is typical. Your drawings govern. We manufacture to your drawings and specifications.
Drawn to ASME B16.5 (Class 600 flanges and studs), API 6D (valve face-to-face lengths), ASME B36.10 and B16.9 (pipe, reducer and elbows), with the trap laid out to usual ASME B31.4 and B31.8 practice and the closure's pressure-warning device to ASME Section VIII, Division 1, UG-35.2.
