Stay rods, sleeves and heavy hex nuts, made in Houston to your drawings and specifications.
Frac pump stay rods are made two ways. A two-piece stay rod is a rod threaded at both ends that runs through a separate sleeve; the sleeve spaces the fluid end off the power end. A one-piece stay rod has the collar and a wrench hex machined on the bar, with no separate sleeve. Scroll and the nuts spin off, then the sleeve slides off its rod. We make both, to your drawing. A rod threaded at both ends. One end screws into the power end nose plate, the other takes the stay rod nut, and the rod runs through a separate sleeve.
The second piece: a tube over the rod that spaces the fluid end off the power end.
Rod and spacer in one. The collar and a wrench hex are machined on the bar, so there is no separate sleeve.
Heavy hex nuts that clamp the fluid end onto the stay rods, on either type.
Stay rods to your drawing, one-piece or two-piece. Send us your drawings and material spec.

Thread and nut sizes follow the 2,500 hp frac pump view (1-3/4 in.-8UN, heavy hex nuts to ASME B18.2.2). The rod, sleeve and one-piece proportions are illustrative.
