Stud bolts are the standard fastener for flanged piping: a length of threaded bar with a heavy hex nut at each end, sized by ASME B16.5 and B16.47 for each flange class. Double-end and tap-end studs thread into a tapped hole on one side; heat exchanger and turbine studs are machined to OEM or TEMA drawings, often with reduced shanks and milled hexes.
Most studs we ship are A193 B7 with 2H nuts, but the same machines turn B7M, L7, B16, stainless, duplex and nickel-alloy studs. PTFE coating, API 6A wellhead bolting and full traceability are available on request.
