Emergency, hot-shot & shutdown fasteners — Houston, 24/7
Innovation Fasteners is a fastener manufacturer with one shop in Houston, Texas. When a unit is down we make stud bolts, heavy hex nuts, special bolts and machined parts to drawing in alloy steel, stainless, duplex and nickel alloys, and deliver them on our own hot-shot around the clock across the Gulf Coast. Call 832-446-3442 — answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Standard studs, bolts and nuts in stocked grades can ship the same day; machined parts to a drawing are typically a few days depending on material and heat treatment. Every lot ships with an EN 10204 3.1 material test report traceable to the heat.
From the call to your gate.
- STEP 01
Call or send it
Call 832-446-3442 any hour, or send a drawing, a spec, a photo of the markings, or the part that failed. Grade, size, thread, quantity and the certificate you need are enough to start.
- STEP 02
Delivery time on the call
On an urgent call we give you a delivery time on the call. Written quotes go back within 24 to 48 hours.
- STEP 03
Make it
Bar is sawn, turned, threaded and marked on our own machines in Houston — 24/7 hot-shot manufacturing when a line is down. Heat treatment and coating, when the spec calls for them, go to approved Houston processors.
- STEP 04
Inspect and certify
Dimensional inspection, and hardness and tensile testing per lot, with an EN 10204 3.1 report. PMI, Charpy, 3.2 and NACE MR0175 on request.
- STEP 05
Ship it
Our own hot-shot across the Gulf Coast, around the clock. Everywhere else in the US and Canada: 2–4 days by ground, next-day air, or dedicated transport. Overseas: international air or ocean freight from Houston, with the delivery time and shipping terms quoted on every order.
Grades we make in a hurry.
The flange bolting most often needed in a hurry.
Emergency page: B7 studs & 2H nuts →Steam and gas turbines, HP steam and hot refinery service.
Emergency page: High-temperature & turbine studs →LNG, ethylene and cold-climate flanges, Charpy tested.
Emergency page: Low-temperature L7 studs →Class 1 and strain-hardened Class 2.
Subsea, sour wells, turbines, acids and chlorides.
Pump shafts, valve stems and high-strength stainless fasteners.
High-strength and anti-galling austenitic stainless.
Emergency page: Stainless B8 & B8M studs →Marine, seawater and non-sparking parts.
Custom parts, not just catalog bolting.

Tee-head bolts, rock bolts & ground anchors
Waterworks and mining ground-support bolting made to drawing.
The fastest jobs.
- The grade, size and thread are clear — a drawing, a spec sheet, or the marking on the old part (B7 on the stud, 2H on the nut) saves a round of questions.
- The bar is on our shelf. We hold bar in Houston in B7, B7M, B16, L7, L7M, 2H and Grade 7, 304 and 316, 17-4 PH, duplex 2205 and super duplex, Inconel 625 and 718 (718 already aged), Monel, Hastelloy, Nitronic, brass and bronze. When it has to come from a mill or a distributor, we tell you the date on the call.
- The grade needs nothing after machining. B7, B16 and L7 bar is quenched and tempered before it is threaded; B8 and B8M (Class 1 and 2), duplex, super duplex, Inconel 625, Monel 400 and Hastelloy are used in the condition the bar comes in.
- A plain finish and the standard 3.1 certificate.
Steps that add time, honestly.
- Heat treatment after machining. B7M and L7M are tempered or stress relieved after machining for the NACE hardness limit, B5 is quenched and tempered after threading, and the age-hardening alloys — Inconel 725 and X-750, Incoloy 925, Monel K-500, 17-4 PH, and 718 in sizes we do not hold aged — are aged after machining. That is done by approved Houston heat treaters, outside our shop, and usually adds about a day.
- Coating or plating. PTFE, zinc-flake, hot-dip galvanizing and the other finishes are applied by approved Houston processors after machining, and usually add about a day.
- Extra tests and witnesses. Charpy impact, stress rupture, corrosion tests, EN 10204 3.2 third-party witness or a customer's inspector each add a step — tell us at the start, not at shipping.
- Large diameters, very long lengths and unusual grades, where the bar has to be found first.
Plan the bolting, keep the line for surprises.
- Send the bolting list as early as you have it: flange sizes and pressure classes, grades, coatings and certification.
- We count studs into sets from the ASME B16.5 or B16.47 table for each flange, run on the nuts, and bag, box and label each set for its joint.
- Grades that need outside heat treatment or coating, and orders with Charpy, PMI or 3.2, have the time they need on a planned order.
- Order spares for the joints most likely to need them, and keep our number with the turnaround crew: the line is answered 24/7 for what the job finds.
Emergency pages by grade and part.
Exotic-grade jobs we’ve made.
Emergency orders: common questions.
Do you make emergency fasteners 24/7?
Yes. Call 832-446-3442; the line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we run 24/7 hot-shot manufacturing when a line is down. Standard studs, bolts and nuts in stocked grades can ship the same day; machined parts to a drawing are typically a few days depending on material and heat treatment.
Where are you, and where does your hot-shot go?
We have one shop, at 18401 Intercontinental Crossing Dr, Houston, TX 77073. Our own hot-shot runs around the clock across the Gulf Coast; everywhere else in the US and Canada we ship 2–4 days by ground, next-day air, or dedicated transport.
Can you make Inconel, duplex or other exotic fasteners in a hurry?
Yes. We machine nickel alloys, duplex and super duplex, precipitation-hardening stainless, Nitronic and copper alloys as well as alloy steel. The date depends mostly on whether the bar is on hand and whether the grade needs ageing or coating, which outside processors do — we tell you on the call.
How fast do I get a quote?
Every quote goes back within 24 to 48 hours. If it is urgent, call 832-446-3442 and we will give you a delivery time on the call.
What certification comes with an emergency order?
Every lot ships with an EN 10204 3.1 material test report traceable to the heat, the same as a planned order. EN 10204 3.2, PMI, Charpy and NACE MR0175 compliance are available on request — ask at the start, as some add time.
Can you copy a part with no drawing?
Yes. Send the part that failed, with whatever you know about its grade and where it is used. We confirm the dimensions, threads and grade with you before we cut metal.
Do you heat treat and coat in-house?
No. Heat treatment, coating and plating are done by approved Houston processors. We manage that step as part of the job and tell you up front how it affects the ship date.
