Choosing vented products.
A vented screw has a hole drilled through its length so air trapped under the head or at the bottom of a blind hole can escape. Vacuum chambers, space hardware and high-purity systems use them to prevent virtual leaks and speed pump-down.
We make vented socket screws and custom vented fasteners by drilling through standard or special parts in stainless and other grades, to your vent size and position.
