What is threaded rod?
Threaded rod is the raw stock of the bolting world — continuous thread in 3, 6, 10 and 12-foot lengths, cut down as the job demands. Hangers, anchors, U-bolt blanks and field-fit studs all start here.

- UNC, UNF and 8UN series

Threaded rod vs. studbolts
When the joint is engineered — a flange, a spec, a cert — order studbolts: cut to length, chamfered, certified. When the job is field-fit, rod economizes. We supply both from the same heat-traceable stock.

Tips for purchasing
- Grade matters as much as size — A307 all-thread is not B7.
