What are stay rods?
On a frac pump, stay rods tie the fluid end to the power end. We make both kinds, to your drawing or from a sample part.
- Two-piece: the rod, threaded both ends, plus the sleeve that spaces the fluid end off the power end
- One-piece: collar and wrench hex machined on the rod, no separate sleeve
- Stay rod nuts and sleeves made to match
Tips for purchasing
- Send the pump model, the drawing or a sample rod.
- Say whether you need the sleeves and nuts as well.
- Material, hardness and heat treatment as on your drawing; EN 10204 3.1 certs with every lot.
