1-3/4"-8 UN heavy hexagon nut machined from ASTM A194 Grade 8S (Nitronic 60) for galling resistance in demanding service.
Nuts are machined from bar or hex stock, tapped to the thread class specified, and heat treated where the grade requires it. Heavy hex, jam, castellated, cap, seal and coupling patterns are turned in-house, so special dimensions cost no more than standard ones.
