1"-8 UNC x 7-1/2" studbolts with two heavy hexagon nuts, made from Nimonic 80A to ASTM B637 (UNS N07080) for strength under prolonged load.
Studs are cut from certified bar, threaded by rolling or single-point cutting to the class called out, and chamfered and marked before they leave. Double-end and tap-end patterns, special lengths and drilled or coated variants are all made to the drawing.
About the material: The exhaust-valve and turbine-bolting superalloy: an 80/20 nickel-chromium alloy age hardened by titanium and aluminium, creep resistant to 1500 °F. Read the Nimonic 80A data page →
