2-1/4"-8 UN-2A × 10.60" stud machined per customer print from ASTM A320 Grade L7 for high-stress, low-temperature service.
Studs are cut from certified bar, threaded by rolling or single-point cutting to the class called out, and chamfered and marked before they leave. Double-end and tap-end patterns, special lengths and drilled or coated variants are all made to the drawing.
About the material: The low-temperature twin of B7 — same 4140 Cr-Mo steel, same 125 ksi strength, but impact tested at −150 °F for cryogenic and cold-climate service. Read the A320 L7 data page →
