2-1/4"-8 UN x 22" Studbolt with 2 Heavy Hex Nuts
ASTM A193 B8C Class 1 / ASTM A194 Grade 8C (347 stainless). Machined to the customer's drawing in our Houston shop.
2-1/4"-8 UN x 22" studbolts with two heavy hex nuts in ASTM A193 B8C Class 1 and A194 Grade 8C (347 stainless), delivered in 5 days for unplanned maintenance. The studs were single-point thread cut and the nuts machined from round bar and milled into a hexagon.
Studs are cut from certified bar, threaded by rolling or single-point cutting to the class called out, and chamfered and marked before they leave. Double-end and tap-end patterns, special lengths and drilled or coated variants are all made to the drawing.
About the material: 347 stainless bolting stabilised with niobium against sensitisation — for hot hydrogen, refinery and welded stainless service between 800 and 1500 °F. Read the A193 B8C Class 1 data page →
