2"-8 UNR-2A × 14-1/4" (±.03) all thread studs machined from ASTM A193 B16 with an internal hex drive for clean installation.
Studs are cut from certified bar, threaded by rolling or single-point cutting to the class called out, and chamfered and marked before they leave. Double-end and tap-end patterns, special lengths and drilled or coated variants are all made to the drawing.
About the material: Vanadium-strengthened Cr-Mo bolting that holds its strength where B7 starts to relax — steam turbines, HP steam flanges and hot valve bonnets. Read the A193 B16 data page →
