4"-8 UN-2A Studs with Acorn Nuts and Washers
SA-320 Grade L43 studs / SA-194 Grade 7 nuts and washers. Machined to the customer's drawing in our Houston shop.
Hot-shot set of 4"-8 UN-2A studs to drawing in SA-320 Grade L43, at 669 mm and 745 mm long (the 745 mm stud with an oil groove). Supplied with 4"-8 UN acorn nuts and 162 mm OD x 105 mm ID x 8 mm washers in SA-194 Grade 7.
Studs are cut from certified bar, threaded by rolling or single-point cutting to the class called out, and chamfered and marked before they leave. Double-end and tap-end patterns, special lengths and drilled or coated variants are all made to the drawing.
About the material: 4340 low-temperature bolting — L7 strength in diameters up to 4 in., thanks to the deep hardenability of a nickel-chrome-moly steel. Read the A320 L43 data page →
