5/16-18 UNC-2A x 7/8" Socket Head Cap Screws, manufactured to customer drawing in Monel K-500 and conforming to ASTM F468 with threads per ASME/ANSI B1.1 delivering exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and precision in critical applications.
Special socket products are machined from bar where the specification allows, with the socket broached and the threads rolled, or cut where the specification or order allows, then heat treated and plated as the specification requires. Shoulder, low-head, flat-head and set-screw patterns follow ASME B18.3 unless the drawing says otherwise.
About the material: Monel 400 corrosion resistance with more than twice the strength — 130 ksi tensile, 90 ksi yield and 24 to 37 HRC — for pump shafts, subsea fasteners and oil-tool components. Read the Monel K-500 data page →
