260 pieces of 7/8"-9 UNC x 6" studbolts, each with two nuts, made from Nimonic 80A (UNS N07080) on a three-week lead time.
Studs are cut from certified bar, threaded by rolling or single-point cutting to the class called out, and chamfered and marked before they leave. Double-end and tap-end patterns, special lengths and drilled or coated variants are all made to the drawing.
About the material: The exhaust-valve and turbine-bolting superalloy: an 80/20 nickel-chromium alloy age hardened by titanium and aluminium, creep resistant to 1500 °F. Read the Nimonic 80A data page →
