#10-24 UNC-2A × 5/8" fully threaded socket head cap screw in ASTM A320 L7 low-temperature alloy steel.
Special socket products are machined from bar where the specification allows, with the socket broached and the threads rolled, or cut where the specification or order allows, then heat treated and plated as the specification requires. Shoulder, low-head, flat-head and set-screw patterns follow ASME B18.3 unless the drawing says otherwise.
About the material: The low-temperature twin of B7 — same 4140 Cr-Mo steel, same 125 ksi strength, but impact tested at −150 °F for cryogenic and cold-climate service. Read the A320 L7 data page →
