1/2"-12 Point Flange Blank Special Lock Nut, precision-manufactured from A286 stainless steel per customer specifications, delivering superior strength, temperature resistance, and reliability in critical applications.
Nuts are machined from bar or hex stock, tapped to the thread class specified, and heat treated where the grade requires it. Heavy hex, jam, castellated, cap, seal and coupling patterns are turned in-house, so special dimensions cost no more than standard ones.
About the material: A-286 bolting for the hottest joints — 130 ksi at room temperature and rated by stress-rupture at 1200 °F, for gas and steam turbines, exhaust and high-temperature process equipment. Read the A453 660 data page →
