1/2"-20 UNF Heavy Hex Nuts

Run of 3,000 1/2"-20 UNF heavy hexagon nuts machined from Monel K500 round bar. Each nut blank was fully machined in one operation, then finished by tapping the threads.

Nuts are machined from bar or hex stock, tapped to the thread class specified, and heat treated where the grade requires it. Heavy hex, jam, castellated, cap, seal and coupling patterns are turned in-house, so special dimensions cost no more than standard ones.

About the material: Monel 400 corrosion resistance with more than twice the strength — 130 ksi tensile, 90 ksi yield and 24 to 37 HRC — for pump shafts, subsea fasteners and oil-tool components. Read the Monel K-500 data page →
