2-3/4"-8 UN-3B special heavy hex nut, drilled and beveled per drawing, machined from ASTM A193 B7 alloy steel for critical bolted joints.
Nuts are machined from bar or hex stock, tapped to the thread class specified, and heat treated where the grade requires it. Heavy hex, jam, castellated, cap, seal and coupling patterns are turned in-house, so special dimensions cost no more than standard ones.
