Hexagon cap nuts turned on the CNC lathe, threaded and then milled, manufactured in accordance with ASTM A194 Grade 7L.
Nuts are machined from bar or hex stock, tapped to the thread class specified, and heat treated where the grade requires it. Heavy hex, jam, castellated, cap, seal and coupling patterns are turned in-house, so special dimensions cost no more than standard ones.
About the material: The Cr-Mo heavy hex nut — same 4140 steel as a B7 stud, rated for elevated temperature and the usual match for B16 and L7. Read the A194 7 data page →
