Heavy hexagon bolts to ASTM A325 Type 1 with heavy hex nuts to ASTM A563 Grade C. Both coated with Sermagard 1105 plus Xylan 1424 Blue.
Headed fasteners are turned or forged to the pattern on the drawing, threads rolled or cut to class, and supplied with the finish specified. Heavy hex, 12-point flange, eye and special-head styles are routine work here.
About the material: The structural steel connection bolt: heavy hex head, 120 ksi tensile, ½ to 1½ in., quenched and tempered, with the twist-off F1852 and metric A325M variants in the same specification. Read the A325 (F3125) data page →
